Dear friends,
Tashi Delek. This is Khenpo Choghyal, discipline master
and project coordinator of Nubri Hinang Thrangu Tashi Choeling
monastery, reporting you all on our latest progress of construction
of Nubri Hinang Thrangu Tashi Choeling. I would like to
extend my warmest thanks to you all on behalf of all our
monks. Your kind and generous help on us will never be wasted.
We are trying our best to fulfill our Rinpoche's noble aim
and yours' help to benefit many sentient beings.
With most beloved Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche's blessing
and the generosity of the Rinpoche's disciples worldwide,
the construction of the Nupri Thrangu Tashi Choling Monastery
is successfully progressed in all external constructions
of the main shrine hall. We now have only decoration and
fixing of statues left so far.
The work that has been finished in the year 2005-2006 is
list below.
1. A powerhouse
2. Electricity generated
3. The roof of shrine hall
4. Choshyam (cupboard) for Twenty-one Tara
5. Main gate of Monastery
6. Ceiling and floor
I have attached the pictures of latest development works
that are mentioned above, hope you all will enjoy.
Ven. Tulku Damcho and Tenzin Dorji are in the three years
retreat at Bhaktapur in Nepal. So therefore, Ven. Lama Namdhak
is taking care of all the responsibilities of the new monastery
building. There are two other monks helping him every year.
As you all may know that Hinang, a place where Rinpoche
is building this monastery, is a very remote area in the
high Himalayan region of Nepal, the construction work is
taking quite long time. The expenditure is also very high
comparing that of in Kathmandu. Every necessary construction
materials have to be taken by the porters and monks for
7 days walk from the nearest District Headquarter (Gorkha).
To complete the monastery, we are still in need of your
kind help and generosity. We request for your continue support
and sponsoring. We assure your kind support will benefit
all the sentient beings.
May the blessing of the Buddha Dharma benefit all beings.
With best wishes,
Khenpo Chongyal
Project coordinator.
