VAJRA VIDYA INSTITUTE DISPENSARY

VAJRA VIDYA INSTITUTE has a dispensary which provides healthcare to the monks attending the Institute. This service is extended to the villagers living in the area of the Institute. The clinic sees over 350 patients per month treating tuberculosis, malnutrition, scabies and gastric diseases.

The Institute has hired a doctor who comes in weekly to do examinations and prescribe drugs. The visits are free and the villagers can buy the medicine at half the cost. Those villagers unable to pay are can obtain medicine without charge.

Money is needed to help purchase medicine for the villagers and the monks. Also, the dispensary is in need of equipment and supplies.
