At
present Vajra Vidya has raised $420,000. This is enough to
begin building Phase One. The entire building has been estimated
to cost about $ 1,125,000. There has been an additional cost
of $ 45,000 for the road and utilities.
PHASE ONE (estimated cost $ 450,000)
The North Wing: If we can raise
$75,000 more by May, 2004 then the North Wing can be completed.
This would include eight retreat rooms, a small shrine room,
staff quarters, the kitchen, dining room, laundry, and bathroom
facilities.
PHASE
TWO (estimated cost $ 225,000)
Raising this
additional $ 225,000 would allow the completion of the large
shrine room and library. Some traditional texts as well as
a small audio and video tape library have been obtained. These
with computers and research tools would be installed with
the completion of Phase Two.
PHASE
THREE (estimated cost $ 450,000)
With
sufficient funds the project would be completed thus providing
a total of 20 retreat spaces and the quarters for the monastic
teaching staff as well as support staff.
