The 17th Karmapa Orgyen Thrinley Dorje
turned 17 this year. Still partially sequestered in Gyuto
Ramoche tantric University in Dharmasala, India he spends his
time reading and studying and producing the most gifted expressions
of poetry and art that reflect a vast understanding of Dharma
for someone of this age. From the people who have had the good
fortune to visit and meet with His Holiness in India report
that he has a presence that effects everyone. The teachings
that he has already given have indicated the great teacher that
he is going to be. May the prayers of the vast number of Buddhist
practitioners bring forth his total freedom to teach them as
soon as possible.
