Ngondro: Karma Kagyu Preliminaries An Instructional DVD featuring the Retreat Master from Thrangu Rinpoche's Nammo Buddha Retreat Center in Nepal. Lama Karma Wangdu gives step-by-step instruction for each of the four foundational practices, including the complete sadhanas. It features explanation and commentary by the Venerable Kenchen Thrangu Rinpoche and HE Tai Situ Rinpoche and an aspirational prayer by HH the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa. The instructional DVD includes Tibetan transliteration and English translation, along with practice loops for each section.

Shakyamuni Buddha taught the Four Noble Truths when he turned the first wheel of dharma in Sarnath India. The Four Immeasurables help us cultivate loving kindness, compassion, equanimity and empathetic joy. These practices open the heart and help us connect with ourselves and others. The Paramitas are the six stages of study and practice followed by Bodhisattvas on their way to Buddhahood. In part 1, Rinpoche teaches on Generosity, Morality, Patience, Diligence, and Meditation; and in part 2, Rinpoche teaches about the Prajnaparamita, the Perfection of Wisdom. The Profound Path of Mahamudra HE Tai Situ Rinpoche This double DVD set features teachings given by Tai Situ Rinpoche at Sherab Ling in Baijnath, India on March 15, 2003. Mahamudra is the principle meditation of the Kagyu Lineage. This is a meditation of practitioners, not scholars or logicians. Briefly, it involves looking directly into the mind to understand the true nature of reality. Rinpoche gives Mahamudra Meditation instruction, including a 28 minute guided session. This DVD also includes question and answer sessions. These teachings were given by Situ Rinpoche during the week of his 50th Birthday celebration.
